On today's Friday Foursome, we featured one of the most passionate golf professionals I have ever met. Don Trahan is a Master Professional and has a GREAT idea in terms of how to swing the golf club. Cindy and I just listened to the presentation. Great stuff and you gave a great over all look at the PPGS and how it evolved. Very cool and every Surgite and all interested in learning the 3/4 limited turn swing and why it's the best way to go will enjoy taking the time to sit through this interesting interview. I know Surge had so much more to say but was limited by the time they had. Still he managed to get a lot across. BTW, unless I'm mistaken it was DJ who came up with the term "Surge Nation". "The sun never sets on the Surge Nation" because we are found in over 120 countries!
I hope everyone watches the video link. Don Trahan is truly at his enthusiastic best:)
Oh, and I appreciated his honest candor about why DJ's game has not been at it's best lately and how it is beginning to turn around.

Robert, great stuff for sure. If you check "passionate" in your dictionary, I'm quite sure Don's picture is right there. ;0) If you love what you do it's not work.
I've been using what Surge teaches for about 3 years and while I'm still a work in progress, my back and body thanks him every time I get to chase that little white ball. I'll never be the poster boy for the PPGS swing, but coming as close as I'm able sure has made my game a lot more fun.
BTW, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall Dick Lee coming up with the term "Surge Nation."

Not sure now. I just remember hearing it the first time about 3 years ago when Surge was doing a side by side conversation with DJ and Deej referred to us as the "Surge Nation". It may have been Dick Lee first before that you may be right.
On that note, those folks in Oklahoma are getting pounded again with tornadoes and bad storms. Really rough in that part of the country. Let's keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Amen to that, Robert. Dick and all those affected remain in my thoughts and prayers. My mediocre round yesterday seems pretty trivial when I see all of those whose lives have been turned upside down.
