Uphill and Downhill Lies

I recently discussed how to approach a shot when you are faced with a downhill lie. I received a question on the blog so I thought I'd revisit the issue in today's daily.

There is more to think about than just your stance when hitting a shot from an uphill or downhill lie. You must also be aware of ball position, where your club face is at impact, and a few other things.

Perhaps the most important thing to do is always make sure your shoulders are level with the angle of the ground. Balance is extra important when taking on a difficult side hill lie. If you're not careful, you could end up falling down. So, take these tips into consideration and imagine what the ball is going to do when it is struck. All of these issues should be addressed before you take your swing.

Keep it vertical,
