In this audio the Surge takes on the problem of topping the ball. Inner Circle member Razkan, who just took up the game, gets it off the tee quite well and does fine with putting. As he puts it, 'it's the game in between' he has a problem with. He keeps topping the ball.
With Razkan's description of how he feels when hitting the ball in the fairway, the Surge was able to figure out the most likely problem — and the solution. Razkan says that , in order not to top the ball, he feels he has to bend his knees more, but that feels like he's squatting. And if he leans over more he feels like he's going to fall over.
The solution, the Surge says, is that Tazkan must put his body in an athletically ready position, like a shortstop getting ready for the batter, or a tennis player getting ready to accept a serve. Listen to the Surge talk about athletically ready posture and the Peak Performance Golf Swing for the solution to that 'game in between.'
