PPGS Setup
A message arrived from a student asking about getting "cocky" with your swing when things are going well. He asks:
"You started to caution me not to get cocky now that I am hitting the ball solidly. You never finished your thoughts on that and I am interested in what you have to say"
You probably have heard instructors and people on TV talk about maximum width of arc in the golf swing. Well it is bad. Why is it bad? Because it requires you to stretch and pull your body out of balance. Your swing should be natural for your body.
No one that plays this game is immune to having problems in their golf swing and anyone that says otherwise is crazy. As issues can creep into our golf swing, your body can be your best friend in finding those issues. Listen to what your body is telling you. Do you have aches? Sore muscles?
Do you waggle the club before you start your swing? Well, if you're not careful, you can easily be changing your grip without even knowing it, which can lead to hooks that have no clear explanation.

I haven't talked about alignment in quite some time so I thought today would be a good day to re-visit the topic. Because 90-95% of all swing problems arise from poor alignment, it's important that you understand how to avoid it!
I recently went over the master setup position of the Peak Performance Golf Swing. Today, I want to focus solely on the left arm position at address.
