Albert Einstein's Golf Swing Tip

One of my favorite quotes is by Albert Einstein:

“Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler”

It applies to everything you ever do in life — work, family and, yes, even your golf swing.

Especially The Peak Performance Golf Swing.

For example, here are a few comments (and a question) I got proving my point:

Don,

I was watching your dvd the other night my wife was at her sewing machine sewing, when all of a sudden she stopped and commented that of all the dvds on golf I have yours was the first one she could understand.

- John Alvarado

DON TRAHAN: John, I really got a chuckle out of your comment. Your wife is right on — I'm NOT a complicated guy.

I can barely program my TiVo or answer more than a question or two on Jeopardy (heck, I have trouble with Hollywood Squares!)

But I DO know simple.

And that's why my swing is all about simplicity.

Speaking of simplicity, here's another question I often get…

Don,

Thanks for emails and I want to get your DVD'€™s but I am left handed and hate having to read and watch video'€™s and it'€™s for right handed. Any just for lefties.

- Rick

DON TRAHAN: Rick, there's no lefty OR righty PPGS videos. The club does not care what hand you use. My system is based on proper set up, alignment, physics and a few other things that have absolutely nothing to do with being right or left handed.

It's like saying learning how to write or eat with a fork is different for lefties as righties.

It's not.

Makes no difference either way.

Don,

Got your DVDS and am very pleased. Am HITTING IT LONGER AND MUCH STRAIGHTER. I return to watch them again as each one has many lessons built in.

- Jim Loobj

DON TRAHAN: Thank you Jim, I appreciate you checking in and letting me know. Longer and straighter is what it's all about in golf. And longer and straighter is all about keeping it simple. Luckily, nobody has ever gotten disqualified from a tournament because of too simple a swing.

Keep me posted on your progress.

OK, that's it for now.

Look, I fully realize some golfers will never bother with the PPGS because it's too simple.

Or, if they do try it, will over-complicate it and then wonder why it doesn't work.

That's fine.

I tell people all the time, if you want complicated, follow the talking heads on TV and study the golf magazines. If you want simplicity, a swing you can learn in about 2 hours, without straining your brain (or your body) then try the PPGS:

The Surge!
