Arm Position at Address

(A Surge Classic) The Surge Squad has been going over video tips from the past that drew some very good response last year. Since we'€™ve got so many '€œnewbies,'€ they suggested we occasionally run a couple to give everyone a chance to see them. This one, about arm position at setup, will help you make your swing so smooth and accurate you'€™re going to want to run out to the range immediately.

Now this is a problem I'€™ve seen in every level of golfer, from high handicapper to Tour pro to, yup, even me. Rather than letting them hang at our side, we all have a tendency to reach for the ball. That straightens out our arms and we think that makes them stronger. Well, guess what, it'€™s doesn'€™t.

In this video you'€™ll see how to keep your arms in dynamic balance at setup and what should happen throughout the swing. Let them hang. Don'€™t reach!

Keep it vertical,

The Surge!
