I did a little video with my student, Chris. He's a low handicap golfer with dreams of playing some serious, competitive golf. He was a rotational swinger but that was causing all sorts of problems in his attempt to “go low.”
In his first lesson I immediately saw one big problem. He was really laid off, back arm really tucked to his body. We got his elbows in the Peak Performance Golf Swing position, the back arm away from the body. When he saw his video, he said he had “awful flying right elbow.” It was “awful” until he took a swing.
