The other day, when I was talking about avoiding hitting the ball high on the clubface, I didn't mention tee height. Is tee height important? Definitely. But is it the most important consideration?
Teeing up too high, especially with irons, can cause you to hit the ball practically straight up. If it's too low, there is every chance you'll dig into the ground. But the real answer to tee height is all about setup.
In the Surge Swing we set up to the ball, not the ground. We set up to hit the ball with the sweet spot of the club, with the wide knees stable and using the accordion effect to get into the correct posture.
So, is correct tee height important? Sure. But more important is correct posture.
Keep it vertical,
The Surge!

Surge, thanks for today's video tip on tee height. I especially like your reference back to your video where you hit drivers from various heights and called the trajectory. I, like you, address the ball on the tee where I want to make contact and set up from there. I believe Robert F. also does it this way and has provided several tips to blog concerning his method of address with the driver.
Thanks again for the reminder,

Surge, what is a good swing
Surge, what is a good swing weight? Some instructors say a heavy swing weight like D6 or D9, some say light swing weight D3, D0 or even lighter. New clubs coming out are lighter and lighter.
I'm confused. Fred

Surge: If you would include a printed description of the lesson you are trying to teach it would be SO HELPFUL to your subscribers that have hearing problems. You talk so darn fast that I can not follow your verbal instruction and your voice does not come through clear or plain enough to be understood. PLEASE INCLUDE PRINTED INSTRUCTION for those of us who are not getting full benefit from your lessons. JohnT
