A couple days ago I talked about accelerating through the ball at impact. For one group of golfers this tip is critical.
Acceleration through impact isn't a problem for low handicap and scratch women golfers. However, from mid to high handicap ladies, it's a big problem. More often than not they look like they're playing like, well, 'ladies.' They tend to have what I call a 'mono swing,' one speed fits all.
Ladies, when you get on the golf course, leave all that 'lady' stuff at home. I want you to become women athletes! You don't have to smash the ball or hurt yourself. I just want you to accelerate through the ball at impact.
You want more distance? Accelerate. You want better control? Accelerate. Nothing pleases me more than to see a woman golfer really go after the ball. By going after the ball athletically, you'll be toning muscles all over your body. Going after it will also help you psychologically, you'll feel more in control of your game.
Ladies, when you tee up, don't be lady-like. Go after it!
