This Rule Doesn't Change: On, On and On

You've probably been there. You're just 50 yards to the green. You pull out a wedge, open the face up considerably, open your body slightly, then swing across the ball and hit it precisely when ball and face are square. The theory is that somehow this will help you “pop” the ball onto the green.

I don't think so. I've been instructing a club pro from Hilton Head Island for well over 10 years. He was getting off the tee well. It was his sort game that was messing him up royally. He was using the “open face” wedge method and spraying shots all over the place. Remember, the PPGS is always on, on, and on. Check out my video and you'll see what I mean.
