Swing Surgeon Custom Golf Clubs

Wed, 07/23/2014 - 03:55 -- Don Trahan

We have always spoken very strongly about getting your clubs custom fit, the benefits of fitted clubs, and our network of certified fitters.  There have been many posts on this website in regards to club head design, shaft lengths, materials, and various other aspects of clubs.  After several years of collaboration and work Doc Griffin and I are very happy to announce our first custom line of clubs.  As you would expect of us these clubs all conform to the PPGS standards, and all clubs are custom fit for the person.

In order to give the best performance possible our clubs can only come custom fit for you and your swing. In this video Doc explains the custom fitting process and what will happen.

The first step to owning your very own Swing Surgeon Custom Golf Clubs is purchasing a long distance fitting.  This can be purchased on any of the club product pages.  After your fitting is completed by Doc, you will be sent purchase links for the recommended clubs.

Nice looking clubs Doc! Did you get them through Wishon Golf for the manufacturing?

I noticed you only go to 5iron, does an iron fitting include hybrids to replace my 4i and the remaining gap to my 4 wood?

Thanks, Lee

Manufacturing: they are not through Wishon Golf. We sourced our own manufacturer directly.

I will let Doc will reply in regards to your other questions as it's beyond my expertise!

The data obtained will allow me to do a complete and total full bag fitting from driver all the way through wedges. Also, there is a bit of confusion regarding the process. When you purchase the "fitting" it does include all clubs. I know the monthly specials to the right is a bit confusing. It had me confused as well. But, it's not a Driver Fitting and an Iron Fitting separately. It is all inclusive regardless of which "deal" you click on. You will all get the same 11 pages of fitting information.

Hi:
I think I understand that filling out the fitting form after paying $25 gets you a recommended set of clubs. Does it also include the specifications that are behind the recommendations? In other words, can I use the output from the fitting to build my own set if I so choose?
Thanks for your help.

Correct, this process will produce a recommended set of clubs. However; it will not produce a specification list for you build your own clubs. The data is analyzed and stored on our end for when or if the customer chooses to buy any club from us. The fitting process isn't trivial and the cost is extremely discounted as part of the cooperation between us and Doc Griffin. Normally this would cost $125.00 if you were to do this with Doc Griffin directly.
