You can have too much of a good thing. You know how important the T-Finish is in the Peak Performance Golf Swing. Well, a long-time student of mine was having problems with occasional blocks and pulls. His backswing looked very good — in the mitt and up the tree. And his forward upswing looked … well I, almost didn't catch it.
In the T-Finish, I want you to come as close as possible to clipping your ear with your back arm. Well, it wasn't until I got him on video that I noticed he was keeping his back arm, in the forward upswing, straight, past the point where it should have folded over the shoulder.
The result: a push or a pull. Take a look at the video. We got him hitting right down the bowling alley.
