Two of the signature aspects of the Surge Swing are narrow stance and wide knees. The knees should be over the ball of your feet. This allows you to keep your body in dynamic balance as you make your limited turn, ¾ backswing. But when you start the downswing all that changes.
Barry, from Brisbane, Australia, had a question. He was trying to keep outward pressure on the knees through impact. Well, Barry, that will definitely 'impact' your swing. Wide knees are only for the backswing.
Once you 'ring the bell' at the top of your backswing, your lower body shifts (for right handers) from your right foot to your left foot, transferring your weight from one side to the other. Keeping the knees level, they must rotate with your body.

Keep it vertical,
The Surge!
