On this Memorial Day, I would like to take time to thank our nation's military men and women, past and present, for their strong sense of commitment and and their unflinching willingness to sacrifice all to keep us safe and free. So if you see a vet or someone on active duty today, please take the time to thank them for their service.

Finally, I have the opportunity to talk about that which is as important to me as a golf instructor and as a person. You maybe know the 'Surgism' that says the ball doesn't know who is holding the club. Well, let me expand on that a little.
The wife of one of our members suggested that, basically, the Surge Swing was for guys, not her. There are a few LPGA pros that would more than argue that point. No matter what sex, race, religion, age, weight, height, country of origin, the ball doesn't know who is holding the club! The game of golf is the ultimate equalizer. And that's how I teach.
As a matter of fact, women and children are usually more flexible than guys, which means their swings can alter more dramatically. And since women do not typically have the upper body strength as men, the Surge Swing is all the more important to the ladies. The Surge Swing is economical. It produces the most power for the least effort. The Surge Swing is controlled. A woman's flexibility is harnessed to product super straight shots.
Thank you, members, for bringing this topic up!

I checked out their site a couple of nights ago, very informative pages.
PJos, If you can get UTube.
PJos, If you can get UTube. Scroll to the bottom sentence in the video discourse, just below the video and just above the blog start. In the last sentence you will see CLICK HERE with the HERE in GREEN, just click the link to watch on UTube and use the same process as your previous method to eliminate the stop/start pause effect. It should play the same as the old format for you then.ÃÂ Good luck

whats your problem, get a life idiot
I hope the ones on the course
I hope the ones on the course today looked a little better than that. It looks like I was scared to death that the ball might go through the net again and go right. LOL
Other than that it will have to do for a hacker. Ha ha!
P.S. Of course I probably look the same way on some of those tight OB right holes. LOL
The best one I hit today I just totally blocked out the OB and hit it as hard as I could down the right side and it was the best I ever hit on that hole. The only problem was I was so far down that instead of an easy 100 yard shot like I usually have I had a really tough 20 yard chip that I ran by the hole and I ended up with only a par.

Robert, You are in for a
Robert, You are in for a treat. As for my new sticks. My initial one bucket at the range, on Fri was a collections of highs and lows, but not bad all in all. I played my first round with them on Sat afternoon. The first nine was terrible, but the second nine I managed a 45. No play Sunday. Yesterday I wore myself out. Played at two different courses 30 miles apart from 7am to dark, with a little break in between. On the morning round I managed a 42/41 which felt pretty good. That is my best round since my very rare 78 of last year. By the evening round and spending all day in the 94* heat, (I know, 94* is a cool day to the Vegas boys, but it's hot as hell to we Ohio guys)ÃÂ anyway, the heat wore me down and the play got weak, but I still managed a 42/45. I am due for another tee time at 11:30 today for 18 at one course and then travel to a different course for my 9-hole evening league. Yesterday, my better drives were 20yds farther than my old driver and the irons were straighter and about 1/2 club farther. The new driver is a 400cc, 16*, 44" C9sw, 2823MOI. I am still getting the feel of it due to the vast difference from my old one, but it is coming along. I also have a 20* and 26* hybrid. I have had at least a dozen hybrids in the past years. They are all either sold, given away, or in the basement. Hated them and preferred FWs. I love these new Hybrids, they absolutely out perform my old 5 & 7 FWs. The wedges have a Circular Score Ridge running through the grooves that they call Micro Grooves. I had some really nice up and downs from around the greens with them yesterday. All in all, I am very pleased so far and have a lot of hope for possible improvement. I once thought my breaking 80 days were over, I now see it's possible again. I hope you have as much fun and success with your fitting as I did with mine. Good luck Robert.

I received an email a few minutes ago, which I could not wait to share with you.ÃÂ My oldest son, Dick, just let me know that he is on his way out of the sand box and should be in Kuwait in a couple of days.ÃÂ It will take a couple more days to process through there and then he will be on his way back to Germany where his wife and sons are awaiting his arrival.
I want to express my heart felt thanks for your prayers, support, and encouragement for us while he has been down range.
Please continue to have him in your prayers while he is in transit.
I will keep you updated as news comes in.
You folks are the best.
Keeping it vertical, and breathing just a little bit easier, in Oklahoma,

Okay Surge Nation, I am two
Okay Surge Nation,
I am two days from meeting with certified and approved fitter Lieth Anderson in Palo Alto just south of San Fransico. For those who have'nt taken a look yet his web site is www.calgolflab.com
I would encourage all to read every section and subject on that site as part of your club fitting studies(or for just interesting golf club observations). Goes without saying all should be thoroughly familiar with master fitter Lynn Griffins site. Additionally on Amaozon.com two great buys are Tom Wishon's books 'Search for the Perfect Driver' and 'Search for the Perfect Golf Club'. He's at www.twgolftech.com ÃÂ If you are really into it buy Ralph Maltby's The 'Complete book of Golf Club Fitting&Performance'. (this is actually a book for fitters but great for golf knowledge nerds like me too). You can consider it atÃÂ www.ralphmaltby.com .ÃÂ I have been looking forward to and saving money toward this forÃÂ over 2ÃÂ years. Really ever sense I found Surge on line with the 10 free videos and became hooked soon buying every instruction videoÃÂ he's sold. From the early days, several months before Lynn Griffin joined Surge, DonÃÂ was recomending we get our clubs fit. Then came Doc Griffin and we all took a closer look at getting fit and possibly custom built clubs. I knowÃÂ not everyone will have thisÃÂ opportunity but at the very least everyone should have there lofts and lies checked and perhapsÃÂ a retrofitting done on thier present set of sticks. In any case I'mÃÂ going for it.ÃÂ My wife and I will leave tommorow afternoon and then Wednesday morningÃÂ I will play nine holes at the Palo Alto muni with Lieth first. He only does thisÃÂ with golfers traveling from a distance. I think it is very cool. He'll see me swing my clubs on the course as we play a round together. Then we head to his "golflab". How cool is that? He'll put me on various monitors and a radar, etc. and do all he doesÃÂ andÃÂ I will try many of his over 200 trial clubs and we'll start narrowing things down as to what will fit me best. During that process I will likely take several clubs includingÃÂ wedges back to the driving range to try out. Then back to the lab for more. I am then scheduled to come back on Thursday at 1pm as we make final fine tuning decisions. We head back to Las Vegas on Friday morning. This may have seemed long for some. Others I know are very interested and hoping to get a complete fitting too some day soon if they haven't already. I plan on sharing a full report apon my return.

Down the middle,
Robert Meade
