Whenever someone writes in to say they've switched to the Peak Performance Golf Swing, it brings me great pleasure. But, it pleases me even more when that person says they're finally finding success on the golf course because of this swing.
Lance Jones is a new Surgite and is loving the results. But, he's not sure about how to use his shoulders in the swing. He understands that the PPGS is a vertical swing, yet doesn't know if he should rotate his shoulders or go vertical with them as well.
Don,
I am a new Surgite and love the results. Please help me understand the shoulders in the swing. Do they rotate or go vertical? I am confused but I know I do it correctly occasionally because every now and then I go vertical correctly and really hit some quality shots.

I think the best way to answer Lance's question is to provide a definition of the PPGS. Simply put, the Peak Performance Golf Swing uses a little bit of turn and a lot of lift. Even though it's a limited turn, you still need to rotate your shoulders. Check out the video to see exactly how much the shoulders should be turning, as I'll use some visual aids to demonstrate my angles and vertical swing plane.
Keep it vertical, with a little bit of rotation!
