Doc Griffin Announces 2014 Golf School/Club Fitting Schedule

Tue, 01/28/2014 - 14:00 -- Don Trahan

I always get asked where we're heading next for Peak Performance Golf Schools and Club Fittings. Last year was a great year, and we'd like to have an even better 2014. Doc Griffin and I sat down to talk about where we'd like to travel this year, so today, he's going to share our discussions with the Surge Nation.

If you're interested in any upcoming schools or fittings and would like to contact Doc directly, click here.

Keep it vertical in 2014!

To all interested in signing up for schools and fittings. Emails will be mailed out approximately 4 to 6 weeks before we come to a particular area. These emails will have the necessary information needed to register. Please make sure that Swing Surgeon has your correct zip code in order to ensure proper delivery of these email blasts.

In case you are not aware, Canada is larger than the U.s.A. I for one am not prepared to travel 1200 miles for a fitting to Toronto. And Calgary, where you have a registered fitter is 870 miles away. Don't you think that you should give better coverage to Canadians than you do? I think it is pathetically lacking. How about Winnipeg.....the centre of Canada. That is only 180 miles away, and I could possibly live with that. Since you travel more to Australia and Europe than ;your neighbor to the north, I think perhaps, you could concentrate a little more here. Also golf is only a 6 month sport here...on a good year, due to weather considerations, so it would be nice to have some support returned to your Surgeites in the Great White North.

Thanks very much,

Keith Irvine

Seriously, you want to give me grief because we don't come any closer to you than we do? We go where the highest concentration of viewers live. I have also been to Canada as many times as I have to the UK and only one more time to Australia. I go out in the field as a service and you knock me for where we go? Unbelievable! I also have people that have traveled to see me in South Carolina from all over the globe. So, you not being prepared to travel 1200 miles certainly doesn't necessitate that I travel 1200 miles more to a less Surgite populated area. We go where the people are.

You haven't come to my house to give me a fitting either! I'm mad.

Doc,

Looks like your schools/fittings in Feb. are already booking up. Nice. I may find a way to see you guys this year. If not on this side of the country than elsewhere:) Cindy and I are hoping to attend the 2014 US Open at Pinehurst also.
We wish you continued success in the coming months.

Doc,

Could you post the exact dates of your planned schools in chicago and minneapolis. Want to make sure my own travel plans allow me to attend at at least one of these locations.

Hi Doc, looking forward to a checkup in November this year, I had a fitting session with you in 2012 at Milperra Driving Range in Sydney's SW and I have been very happy with the clubs that you built for me.
Unfortunately I could not make the 2013 fitting and day school as I had a change of job and moved from Sydney to Perth and wasn't settled in at the time of your visit. But I am more than happy to travel 2000 miles by air for a Sydney appointment this year as I can give my work place a heads up well in advance and lock in the dates 4 - 6 weeks out.
Looking forward to catching up again and for Surge to check out the Golden Calf I have made :-) . Cheers, Craig

As a Canadian, I am in Florida as a snowbird this year. i.e. Coconut Creek (zip 33066) Wynmoor Village.

I am planning to return to Canada in early April 2014. As you will be in Jupiter Florida, I would be interested in joining you for a session as well as a fitting. Can you be more specific as to which week in March 2014 you will be holding the session.

There are various levels of golfers, some who always want to improve and some who just can't understand why they never improve. If you want to seriously improve then get fitted with clubs by Doc Griffin. If you feel it is too far to go, then that's your problem to deal with. I am in the UK and, having undergone knee replacement surgery, wanted to get back to where I was before my problems. Doc has fitted me superbly, wont bore you with the details, but I'm back to single figures at the best Championship Golf Course in England and only 70! Time indeed to get back to my lowest Handicap ever before nature takes its course. Incidentally, I have started a Fitness and Flexibilty Course and got my Swing speed up to 89 mph with a 7 iron, using the PPS of course. Thanks to Doc Griffin and Surge
